Vest and Apex are built on opposite ideas, and they trade different markets: Apex is futures, while Vest trades equities, crypto and FX. Apex uses a trailing drawdown that follows your highs and pays 100% of profits. Vest uses a static drawdown that never moves, with no consistency rule at all.

Static vs trailing drawdown
This is the deciding factor. With Apex's trailing drawdown, every new high pulls your loss limit up behind you, so a few good days followed by a pullback can end an account. Vest's limit stays $3,000 below your starting balance no matter how much you make, so profits become a cushion.
The trade-off is a bigger target: $5,000 at Vest versus $3,000 at Apex.
Which should you pick?
Pick Vest if trailing drawdowns or consistency rules have knocked you out before, or if you trade the news and want equities, crypto or FX rather than futures. Pick Apex if you want the smaller target, 100% of profits and the futures platforms you already use.
