Lucid and Tradeify look alike on paper: both use end-of-day trailing drawdowns, both pay a 90/10 split, and both offer a plan that skips the evaluation. They differ in the details of each plan, so the right pick depends on how you want to handle the consistency rule.

Both firms set a $3,000 target and a $2,000 end-of-day drawdown on 50K evaluations, with a 4-mini limit.

The differences that matter

  • Activation fees: neither firm charges one.
  • Daily loss limit: Lucid's is $1,200 on a 50K and optional on Flex and Daily. Tradeify Select has none; Growth and Lightning have $1,250.
  • Funded rule on the fast-pass plans: Lucid Pro's 40% rule is a little easier to meet than Tradeify Growth's 35%.
  • News trading: allowed on every Tradeify plan.
  • Lucid Daily switches to an intraday drawdown once funded, so plan for that.

Which should you pick?

If you want the hard part done in the test, Lucid Flex and Tradeify Select are close to identical; pick on today's price. For a one-day pass, Lucid Pro has the looser funded rule. To skip the evaluation, compare Lucid Direct's steady 20% rule with Tradeify Lightning's rule that loosens after the first payout.
