How Vest works
Vest is built differently from the other firms here. Its drawdown is static: on a 50K account it sits at $3,000 below your starting balance and never moves up as you make money. Most futures firms trail the drawdown behind your highs, so this gives you a lot more room once you're in profit.
Its one-step evaluation has a $5,000 target on the 50K and a $1,500 daily loss limit. There's no consistency rule, no minimum number of trading days and no cap on how much of your profit comes from one day. News trading is allowed on every account.
You can request a payout whenever you're eligible, and eligible claims are credited within 24 hours. The profit split runs from 80% up to 95%. Vest trades on its own web platform rather than NinjaTrader or Tradovate.
Who it suits: traders who've been knocked out by trailing drawdowns or consistency rules, and anyone who trades the news.
