Good Morning Traders! In today's RIPS Morning Memo, we will discuss SPY, QQQ, AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, GOOGL, META, and TSLA.
Our proprietary formula, exclusive to Market Clubhouse, dictates these price levels. This dynamic equation takes into account price, volume, and options flow. These levels are updated every day and shared with all Clubhouse Members, prior to the opening of the market.
We recommend closely monitoring these stocks, and be prepared to leverage potential breakouts or reversals. As always, stay alert and ready to adjust your tactics based on the market's pulse to optimize your trading gains. Now, let's dive into the stock analysis:
SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSEARCA: SPY)
SPY is currently trading around 773.00 as markets continue through a relatively quiet week with today's main macro focus on the September Flash PMIs. If buyers defend this level, a move toward 779.00 may develop, followed by 785.00 if momentum builds. Sustained strength above 791.00 would reinforce the short term bullish structure and suggest buyers remain comfortable adding exposure near recent highs.
If SPY loses 773.00 with conviction, sellers may press into 767.00. A breakdown there could expose 761.00, while continued weakness may bring the 755.00 region into focus. With limited data outside the PMI release, Treasury yields and the 5 Year Note Auction could have a greater influence on intraday direction than usual.
Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 (NASDAQ: QQQ)
QQQ is currently trading around 745.50 and continues to show strong momentum as technology remains one of the market's primary leadership areas. If buyers defend this pivot, price may advance toward 752.50, followed by 759.50 if momentum strengthens. Sustained strength above 766.50 would indicate continued institutional demand across growth stocks.
If 745.50 fails to hold, sellers may drive price toward 739.00. A deeper breakdown could expose 732.50, while continued weakness may bring the 726.00 region into play. Treasury yields should remain particularly important around both the PMI data and the afternoon 5 Year auction.
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL)
AAPL is currently trading around 340.50 and continues to demonstrate strong relative performance. If buyers defend this pivot, price may rotate toward 345.75, followed by 351.00 if momentum builds. Sustained strength above 356.25 would reinforce the bullish short term structure.
If 340.50 breaks lower, sellers may test 335.50 quickly. Continued downside pressure could extend into 330.50, while deeper weakness may bring the 325.50 region into focus. Continued outperformance against QQQ would remain a constructive indication of institutional demand.
Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT)
MSFT is currently trading around 502.50 and remains above the psychologically important 500 level. If buyers maintain acceptance above this area, price may advance toward 509.75, followed by 517.00 if momentum builds. Sustained strength above 524.25 would reinforce the recovery and continued institutional sponsorship.
If 502.50 fails to hold, sellers may press into 495.50. A deeper pullback could test 488.50, while continued weakness may bring the 481.50 region into play. Holding above 500 remains the clearest near term signal that buyers continue to control the immediate structure.
NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA)
NVDA is currently trading around 227.75 and remains an important leadership gauge for semiconductors and the broader technology complex. If buyers defend this pivot, a move toward 235.00 may develop, followed by 242.25 if momentum strengthens. Sustained trade above 249.50 would indicate continued upside expansion and stronger semiconductor participation.
If 227.75 fails to hold, sellers may test 221.75 quickly. Continued downside could extend into 215.75, while deeper weakness may bring the 209.75 region into focus. NVDA's participation should remain an important confirmation signal for any broader QQQ move.
Alphabet Inc Class A (NASDAQ: GOOGL)
GOOGL is currently trading around 351.00 and continues attempting to build on its recent stabilization. If buyers defend this level, price may rotate toward 357.50, followed by 364.00 if momentum improves. Sustained strength above 370.50 would reinforce the developing recovery.
If 351.00 fails to hold, sellers may guide price toward 345.00. A breakdown there could expose 339.00, while continued weakness may bring the 333.00 region into play. Continued participation alongside QQQ would strengthen the case that GOOGL's relative performance is improving.
Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ: META)
META is currently trading around 739.00 and remains one of the strongest mega cap names in the market. If buyers defend this pivot, a push toward 747.00 may develop, followed by 755.00 if momentum builds. Sustained strength above 763.00 would reinforce the bullish structure and continued institutional demand.
If 739.00 breaks lower, sellers may guide price toward 731.50. A deeper pullback could test 724.00, while continued weakness may bring the 716.50 region into focus. META's continued outperformance remains one of the stronger relative strength signals within large cap technology.
Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA)
TSLA is currently trading around 378.00 and continues to maintain strong momentum within its recent recovery. If buyers defend this pivot, a move toward 386.50 may develop, followed by 395.00 if momentum continues. Sustained strength above 403.50 would reinforce bullish momentum and indicate continued speculative demand.
If 378.00 fails to hold, sellers may test 370.00 quickly. Continued downside pressure could extend into 362.00, while deeper weakness may bring the 354.00 region into play. With today's macro calendar relatively light, technical positioning and broader risk appetite could have greater influence on TSLA.
Final Word: Today's economic calendar remains relatively limited, with the primary focus on the September Preliminary S&P Global Manufacturing, Services, and Composite PMIs at 9:45AM ET. These reports should provide the cleanest fresh read on current business activity across both the manufacturing and services sides of the economy. Traders will be watching not only the headline activity measures, but also whether strength or weakness appears broad based and whether the data changes the market's view of growth following last week's FOMC decision.
The remainder of the session is lighter. Crude Oil, Gasoline, and Distillate Inventories arrive at 10:30AM ET, followed by the 2 Year FRN Auction at 11:30AM ET and the 5 Year Note Auction at 1:00PM ET. With rates still an important driver for equities, the afternoon Treasury auction could create a second volatility window if demand materially surprises expectations.
Fed Governor Barr also participates in a fireside chat shortly after the PMI release at 10:05AM ET. With markets still digesting the Fed's recent rate hike, any comments surrounding inflation, growth, or financial conditions could influence Treasury yields even in an otherwise quiet session. Overall, today's PMI data should remain the main macro checkpoint, while yields, technical positioning, and technology leadership will likely determine whether any move develops into a broader trend. Good luck and trade safely!
