Good Morning Traders! In today's RIPS Morning Memo, we will discuss SPY, QQQ, AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, GOOGL, META, and TSLA.
Our proprietary formula, exclusive to Market Clubhouse, dictates these price levels. This dynamic equation takes into account price, volume, and options flow. These levels are updated every day and shared with all Clubhouse Members, prior to the opening of the market.
We recommend closely monitoring these stocks, and be prepared to leverage potential breakouts or reversals. As always, stay alert and ready to adjust your tactics based on the market's pulse to optimize your trading gains. Now, let's dive into the stock analysis:
SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSEARCA: SPY)
SPY is currently trading around 773.00 as markets continue through a very quiet week with today's focus spread across Jobless Claims, Fed commentary, and the 30 Year Treasury auction. If buyers defend this level, a move toward 779.00 may develop, followed by 785.00 if momentum builds. Sustained strength above 791.00 would reinforce the short term bullish structure and suggest buyers remain comfortable adding exposure near recent highs.
If SPY loses 773.00 with conviction, sellers may press into 767.00. A breakdown there could expose 761.00, while continued weakness may bring the 755.00 region into focus. With no major binary catalyst on the calendar, Treasury yields and technical positioning could have a greater influence than the economic releases themselves.
Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 (NASDAQ: QQQ)
QQQ is currently trading around 751.75 and continues to hold a strong structure as technology remains one of the market's primary leadership areas. If buyers defend this pivot, price may advance toward 758.75, followed by 765.75 if momentum strengthens. Sustained strength above 772.75 would indicate continued institutional demand across growth stocks.
If 751.75 fails to hold, sellers may drive price toward 745.25. A deeper breakdown could expose 738.75, while continued weakness may bring the 732.25 region into play. The 30 Year auction and any meaningful move in long dated yields should remain particularly relevant for technology.
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL)
AAPL is currently trading around 336.75 and continues to maintain a constructive structure despite recent volatility. If buyers defend this pivot, price may rotate toward 342.00, followed by 347.25 if momentum builds. Sustained strength above 352.50 would reinforce the bullish short term structure.
If 336.75 breaks lower, sellers may test 331.75 quickly. Continued downside pressure could extend into 326.75, while deeper weakness may bring the 321.75 region into focus. Relative performance against QQQ should remain useful for evaluating institutional demand.
Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT)
MSFT is currently trading around 529.00 and remains firmly above the psychologically important 500 level. If buyers defend this area, price may advance toward 536.25, followed by 543.50 if momentum builds. Sustained strength above 550.75 would reinforce the bullish structure and continued institutional sponsorship.
If 529.00 fails to hold, sellers may press into 522.00. A deeper pullback could test 515.00, while continued weakness may bring the 508.00 region into play. Maintaining acceptance above 500 keeps the broader structure considerably more constructive.
NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA)
NVDA is currently trading around 235.00 and remains an important leadership gauge for semiconductors and the broader technology complex. If buyers defend this pivot, a move toward 242.25 may develop, followed by 249.50 if momentum strengthens. Sustained trade above 256.75 would indicate continued upside expansion and stronger semiconductor participation.
If 235.00 fails to hold, sellers may test 229.00 quickly. Continued downside could extend into 223.00, while deeper weakness may bring the 217.00 region into focus. NVDA's ability to maintain momentum should remain an important confirmation signal for QQQ.
Alphabet Inc Class A (NASDAQ: GOOGL)
GOOGL is currently trading around 347.50 and continues attempting to improve after its recent period of relative weakness. If buyers defend this level, price may rotate toward 354.00, followed by 360.50 if momentum improves. Sustained strength above 367.00 would reinforce the developing recovery.
If 347.50 fails to hold, sellers may guide price toward 341.50. A breakdown there could expose 335.50, while continued weakness may bring the 329.50 region into play. Continued participation alongside QQQ would strengthen the case that GOOGL's relative performance is improving.
Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ: META)
META is currently trading around 716.50 and remains one of the stronger mega cap names despite recent volatility. If buyers defend this pivot, a push toward 724.50 may develop, followed by 732.50 if momentum builds. Sustained strength above 740.50 would reinforce the bullish structure and continued institutional demand. If 716.50 breaks lower, sellers may guide price toward 709.00. A deeper pullback could test 701.50, while continued weakness may bring the 694.00 region into focus. META's relative performance should remain an important gauge of institutional appetite for large cap technology.
Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA)
TSLA is currently trading around 373.50 and continues to maintain a constructive short term structure. If buyers defend this pivot, a move toward 382.00 may develop, followed by 390.50 if momentum continues. Sustained strength above 399.00 would reinforce bullish momentum and indicate continued speculative demand.
If 373.50 fails to hold, sellers may test 365.50 quickly. Continued downside pressure could extend into 357.50, while deeper weakness may bring the 349.50 region into play. With the macro calendar relatively quiet, technical positioning and broader risk appetite could have greater influence on TSLA.
Final Word: Today's economic calendar continues a very quiet week with only a few notable events. Weekly Initial and Continuing Jobless Claims arrive at 8:30AM ET, providing the most timely update on labor market conditions. August Wholesale Trade Sales and Final Wholesale Inventories follow at 10:00AM ET, with Natural Gas Inventories at 10:30AM ET. None of these releases individually carries the market moving weight of payrolls, CPI, or an FOMC decision, so the broader reaction in Treasury yields may matter more than the headlines themselves.
Fed commentary remains part of today's backdrop, with Christopher Waller, Neel Kashkari, and Alberto Musalem scheduled to speak. Waller's comments on the economic outlook may receive the most attention, particularly if he provides any fresh perspective on inflation, growth, or the path of monetary policy following the Fed's recent rate hike. In an otherwise light week, unexpected policy commentary can have a larger impact than usual.
The 30 Year Bond Auction at 1:00PM ET may be today's most important scheduled rates event. Demand at the long end of the Treasury curve remains particularly relevant given the market's focus on elevated long term yields and their impact on financing conditions and growth stock valuations. Unless Jobless Claims or Fed commentary produces a meaningful surprise, today's session is likely to remain driven primarily by Treasury yields, technical positioning, and individual stock flows. Good luck and trade safely!
