Good Morning Traders! In today's RIPS Morning Memo, we will discuss SPY, QQQ, AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, GOOGL, META, and TSLA.
Our proprietary formula, exclusive to Market Clubhouse, dictates these price levels. This dynamic equation takes into account price, volume, and options flow. These levels are updated every day and shared with all Clubhouse Members, prior to the opening of the market.
We recommend closely monitoring these stocks, and be prepared to leverage potential breakouts or reversals. As always, stay alert and ready to adjust your tactics based on the market's pulse to optimize your trading gains. Now, let's dive into the stock analysis:
SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSEARCA: SPY)
SPY is currently trading around 774.25 as markets continue to hold near recent highs ahead of tomorrow’s highly anticipated CPI report. With today’s economic calendar relatively light, traders may be reluctant to establish aggressive new positions ahead of the inflation data. If buyers defend this level, a move toward 780.25 may develop, followed by 786.25 if momentum builds. Sustained strength above 792.25 would reinforce the broader bullish trend.
If SPY loses 774.25 with conviction, sellers may press into 768.25. A breakdown there could expose 762.25, while continued weakness may bring the 756.25 region into focus. With CPI looming tomorrow morning, watch for lighter volume, positioning adjustments, and more technically driven price action throughout the session.
Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 (NASDAQ: QQQ)
QQQ is currently trading around 723.00 as technology continues to play a major role in determining broader market direction. With CPI approaching, Treasury yields could become increasingly important for growth stocks as traders position around potential changes in interest rate expectations. If buyers defend this pivot, price may advance toward 730.00, followed by 737.00. Sustained strength above 744.00 would indicate renewed leadership from large cap technology.
If 723.00 fails to hold, sellers may drive price toward 716.50. A deeper breakdown could expose 710.00, while continued weakness may bring the 703.50 region into play. Watch whether technology can maintain momentum as traders reduce risk ahead of tomorrow’s inflation catalyst.
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL)
AAPL is currently trading around 309.00 and continuing to consolidate as traders look for its next directional move. If buyers defend this pivot, price may rotate toward 314.25, followed by 319.50 if momentum builds. Sustained strength above 324.75 would indicate renewed institutional demand and stronger upside participation.
If 309.00 breaks lower, sellers may test 304.00 quickly. Continued downside pressure could extend into 299.00, while deeper weakness may bring the 294.00 region into focus.
Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT)
MSFT is currently trading around 504.50 and continuing to show relative strength above the key psychological 500 level. Holding above this area would keep the short term structure constructive and could encourage additional institutional participation. If buyers defend this pivot, price may advance toward 512.00, followed by 519.50 if momentum builds. Sustained strength above 527.00 would signal another leg higher.
If 504.50 fails to hold, sellers may press into 497.50. A deeper pullback could test 490.50, while continued weakness may bring the 483.50 region into play. The reaction around 500 remains an important short term sentiment indicator.
NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA)
NVDA is currently trading around 220.00 and remains one of the most important leadership names for both semiconductors and the broader technology sector. With CPI approaching, changes in Treasury yields and risk appetite could have an outsized impact on higher growth names. If buyers defend this pivot, a move toward 227.25 may develop, followed by 234.50 if momentum strengthens. Sustained trade above 241.75 would indicate renewed semiconductor leadership.
If 220.00 fails to hold, sellers may test 214.00 quickly. Continued downside could extend into 208.00, while deeper weakness may bring the 202.00 region into focus. Watch NVDA closely for confirmation of QQQ direction throughout the session.
Alphabet Inc Class A (NASDAQ: GOOGL)
GOOGL is currently trading around 357.00 and continuing to work on establishing support following recent weakness. If buyers defend this level, price may rotate toward 363.50, followed by 370.00 if momentum improves. Sustained strength above 376.50 would indicate a more meaningful recovery and improving institutional participation.
If 357.00 fails to hold, sellers may guide price toward 351.00. A breakdown there could expose 345.00, while continued weakness may bring the 339.00 region into play.
Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ: META)
META is currently trading around 596.25 and attempting to reclaim the important 600 area after recent consolidation. If buyers defend this pivot and regain 600, a push toward 603.75 may develop, followed by 611.25 if momentum builds. Sustained strength above 618.75 would indicate improving relative strength and renewed institutional accumulation.
If 596.25 breaks lower, sellers may guide price toward 589.25. A deeper pullback could test 582.25, while continued weakness may bring the 575.25 region into focus. Watch whether 600 continues to act as resistance or becomes support.
Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA)
TSLA is currently trading around 333.00 and continues to show elevated volatility and speculative interest. If buyers defend this pivot, a move toward 341.50 may develop, followed by 350.00 if momentum continues. Sustained strength above 358.50 would indicate stronger upside participation and improving short term structure.
If 333.00 fails to hold, sellers may test 325.00 quickly. Continued downside pressure could extend into 317.00, while deeper weakness may bring the 309.00 region into play.
Final Word: Today’s economic calendar is somewhat light as markets prepare for tomorrow’s highly anticipated CPI inflation report. The morning begins with Weekly ADP Employment Change at 8:15AM ET, followed by Redbook Retail Sales at 8:55AM ET and July Existing Home Sales at 10:00AM ET. While these releases can provide additional insight into labor conditions, consumer activity, and the housing market, none carry the same potential to reshape Federal Reserve expectations as tomorrow’s inflation data.
Treasury activity will also be worth monitoring, with the 4 and 8 Week Bill Announcement at 11:00AM ET followed by the 3 Year Note Auction at 1:00PM ET. The auction could influence Treasury yields during the afternoon, particularly with traders already positioning around tomorrow’s CPI release and its implications for the future path of monetary policy.
With the major catalyst still one session away, today could become increasingly driven by positioning, Treasury yields, technical levels, and order flow rather than scheduled economic headlines. Traders should also be aware that quieter sessions ahead of major data can quickly shift if institutions begin adjusting exposure into the event. Expect CPI positioning to become an increasingly important influence as the session progresses. Good luck and trade safely!
